The East African Senior Center (EASC) is committed to helping older adults connect with the services that foster health, security, community and a high quality of life. In particular, we are focused on making sure that East African elders receive and access culturally- appropriate and needed services in various locations around Seattle. The EASC is a program of Sound Generations. You will find services provided by Sound Generations throughout these resources.

If you, or someone that you care for, are having trouble getting help from any of the programs listed on this website, please contact us and we will do our best to make it work for you. We would also like to hear from you if there is a service or activity that you need or would really like that is not currently being offered.

Classes and Activities

We are currently expanding our classes and always looking to offer new ongoing or one- off activities. We have fitness, presentations on safety, nutrition, and other workshops that are culturally appropriate.
